Insert 10 minute cardio workouts.
In just 10 minutes, you can burn a minimum of 100 calories. Whether watching tv, cooking in the kitchen, doing homework with the kids, or even a 15 minute break at work, here is a quick routine you can incorporate to help you maximize your time and effort.
10-Minute Cardio Workout:
:60 – Brisk walk or march in place :60 – Light jog in place or outside, moving the arms up and down :60 – Jumping jacks :30 – Long jumps – jump forward, landing with both feet, turn around and jump back :30- Jog in place :30 – Plank :30 – Jog in place :30 – Burpees :30 – Mountain climbers :30 – Jog in place :30 – Burpees :30 – Job in place :30 – Plank :60: Squat jumps :60 – Slow march in place to cool down
Give it a try! If some of the exercises listed above are not “fun” for you, switch them out with any of the other cardio activities listed below. The idea is to create a short circuit that you enjoy doing. If you like it, you’ll stick to it.
