We realized early in our process of creating a healthier lifestyle,
our love for food would not change.
We knew, in order for this "healthier lifestyle" to work long term, the foods had to look familiar, taste familiar, and be easy to prepare.
Taste preference is the number one reason for food choices.
In other words, food is a critical component to health, wellness, weight loss, weight management, life balance and experience.
Being from New Orleans, we LOVE to eat! Our extreme passion for food is deep rooted in our black, Louisiana culture. It was important to us to not have to sacrifice foods we loved for foods that were unfamiliar in order to bring about better health, wellness, and sustainable weight loss.
After a lot of research, recipe re-workings, and good old fashion trial and error, we created our Let's Cook! Healthy Cookbook series.
Our goal with our Let's Cook! Cookbooks was to share many of our favorite recipes made healthy, simple, and absolutely delicious!
