Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients: Makes 4-6 servings

  • 1lb – 1 1/2lbs Brussels sprouts, ends trimmed & yellow leaves removed

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper

  • sea salt and pepper



Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. Place trimmed Brussels sprouts in a bowl.

  3. Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper, making sure the sprouts are coated well.

  4. Pour onto a baking sheet and roast for 30-40 minutes.

  5. Be sure to stir or shake them every 10 minutes to make sure they roast (brown) evenly. Outer leaves will be brown & crispy.
