Happy New Year! New year. Same you. The goal? BETTER consistency in 2023.
"Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out." -Robert Collier
Every year, around this time, the advertising ramps up to remind you a new year is quickly approaching. Great hype, new products, and weight loss promotions are built upon the "New Year, New You" concept. It happens every year. And every year, the sound bite works...for a minute. But, by the second week of January...
Truth is, it's a new year not a new you. If a new year brought forth a new you automatically, the "old" you wouldn't show up. The reality is the turn of the calendar does not automate a shift in our beliefs, habits, choices, and lifestyle practices.
The new year presents a fresh 365 days. The question becomes, what will we do with each day presented to us? Will we commit to the process of building better health habits through better consistency or will we remain complacent, continuing old habits in the new year?
How many years, months, days, hours, & seconds have you allowed to pass by under the premise of what you want to do, need to do, gonna do, or planning to do?
How often are you contemplating starting based on the fact you acknowledge you KNOW you need to make changes but you decline to start? Or, every Monday, you are "starting over."
🎯 If you keep starting over, you’ll never discover yourself beyond your perceived limits.
The motto for 2023 is simple: Commit to your commitment. Commit to your consistency.
Let go of all the excuses that keep you from starting or cause you to keep starting over. It’s time to let go of all the excuses that permit you to quit on yourself time & time again...
For this new year, we want to challenge you to commit to improving your level of consistency. Until we become consistent in putting knowledge and understanding into action, the years will continue to pass and we will continue believing a new year will one day bring forth a new you.
Truth is, you don't need to become a new you; you just need to become a more consistent you. Let's make it happen!
