Sauteed Tilapia with Sweet Onions

Ingredients: Makes 4 servings


  • 4 (4 oz) tilapia fillets

  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 tsp parsley

  • 2 tsp paprika

  • 2 tsp granulated garlic

  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper

  • sea salt and black pepper


Directions:

  1. In a medium skillet, heat 1 tbsp olive oil on low, cover & saute onion & peppers about 5 minutes. Set aside

  2. Season tilapia with sea salt, black, paprika, garlic, parsley & cayenne pepper.

  3. In large skillet, heat olive oil and saute tilapia fillets over medium heat, approximately 3-4 minutes per side. Remove tilapia fillets and set aside.

  4. Add onions. Saute onions for about 5 minutes.

  5. Add tilapia fillets to sauteed onions. Cover and cook on low for about 2 minutes. When serving, top sauteed onions over tilapia fillets.
