Glazed Carrots


Ground Turkey Burger

Healthy Dinner Under 60 Minutes

Glazed Carrots

Ingredients: Makes 8 servings

  • 2 - 16 oz packaged of baby carrots

  • 2 tbsp butter, unsalted

  • 2 tbsp parsley

  • 1/4 cup honey, maple syrup, sugar, or sweetener of choice

  • sea salt and black pepper


Directions:

  1. Add carrots to 3-quart saucepan and cover with water.

  2. Add salt and pepper.

  3. Bring to boil; reduce heat. Slightly cover (allow steam to escape) and cook for about 10 minutes or until tender preference.

  4. Drain and return to saucepan.

  5. Add butter, sweetener, and parsley.

  6. Simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly until well blended.
