Healthier Filthy Cabbage with Ground Turkey

Ingredients: Makes 8 servings (1 1/2 cups)
2.5 Ibs ground turkey
1 large head green cabbage, chopped into bite-sized pieces
1 large sweet onion, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 yellow bell pepper, diced
1 can basil, garlic diced tomatoes (no sodium)
2 tbsp garlic, minced
1.5 / 2 cups low sodium chicken broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp smoked paprika
2 tsp granulated garlic
1 tsp salt (add more if desired)
Directions:
Add olive oil & sauté onions & bell pepper in skillet.
Add grown turkey. Season and brown the ground turkey. Drain the fat.
Push the turkey to the sides of the pot. Add the tomatoes; cook for 5-8 minutes.
Add the granulated garlic, paprika, salt, chicken broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Then add the garlic and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the chopped cabbage in batches if needed. Stir until fully coated. Cover and reduce heat to medium-low.
Simmer covered for 10-15 minutes, or until the filthy cabbage reaches your preferred texture.
If the sauce is too runny, cook uncovered for a few minutes.
