Chicken Pasta Bake

Healthy Snacks Under 30 Minutes

Kale Chips

Ingredients: Makes 4 servings

  • 8 cups kale, remove leaves from thick stem

  • 1-2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • sea salt and black pepper

  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper

  • Parmesan cheese (optional)


Directions:

  1. Make sure kale is thoroughly washed and dried before cooking. A salad spinner is ideal to remove all access water from leaves. Remove kale leaves from any remaining hard stems. You want to roast just the kale leaves.

  2. Preheat oven to 250°F.

  3. In large mixing bowl, add kale. Drizzle with olive Do a rough mix using your hands or tongs.

  4. Sprinkle kale with salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, or seasonings/herbs of choice.

  5. Toss to make sure kale is mixed well.

  6. Place kale chips on baking sheet. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until edges of kale are brown and kale is crispy when moved.
